And The Award Goes To... Okie!
Find out why our brand is loved by thousands of pawrents!
Both of my cats liked the food straight away and transitioned with no problem. They look good after 5 bags of it. The only down side is the amount of poop and the smell. They are passing easily twice as much poop than before which is surprising. I thought high quality protein would produce less waste. The smell is also very bad from both cats poop. Quite overpowering.
Ever since we switched, I’ve noticed such a big difference their tear stains have gone down so much, and we hardly have issues with ear mites anymore. Their coats look shinier, they seem more comfortable, and meal times have become something they get so excited about.
It feels so good knowing I’m feeding them something that actually makes a difference to their health. Happier, healthier cats = a much happier pawrent 🐾❤️
I’m glad my 4 babies love it. Getting next purchase soon
My cats are picky eaters and buying food for them is frustrating cos they would just walk away without touching it. The good news is that they both LOVE the kibbles, and their bowls are empty every single day (previous brands took about 2 days before their bowls went empty) so thats really a good sign.
The not so good news is that their poop is a little softer than usual and the smell is super strong. In all their 7 years they have never had poop this smelly so I am a little concerned. Because their poop are on the softer side, scooping them up is a little bit messy but other than that, the cats seems to be healthier (shedding is minimal now seems like, will continue to monitor and see if this continues - after all, I've only tried this for a week) and more energetic it seems.
I've subscribed to a monthly purchase now so will continue to monitor their health and condition after a month.
(PS: the poop really is that bad. Really.)
Hello Natalie, thank you for trying us out. This is the founder of Okie Kibbles. I'm glad to hear that both your cats LOVE the kibbles! :) Honestly, we're trying to always improve with regards to the ingredients! :)
The reason why your cats love our kibbles is likely because of our high animal content and protein content, and they can likely smell it too.
With regards to the poop smell, we can guarantee that it doesn't harm their health, as evidenced in their healthier coat and minimized shedding. This is actually the result of high protein in their diets. So we usually recommend customers slowly introduce our kibbles at the start by mixing it with other foods to reduce the likelihood of smelly poopoo. Once they are acustomed to it, then you can fully feed them our kibbles.
We are still trying to improve on the smelly poop aspect, without compromising the protein and animal meats that their diet requires.
I'm very happy to hear that the health of your cats are improving!
